I purchased your pro theme, Digital Books Pro, but there are problems with Woocommerce. I installed it, and as I began to set it up, the first Home page which asks for the country is mandatory, but it won’t accept any input. There’s a drop down, but it doesn’t drop any options. When I start to type United States, it should give me a drop down, but it does not. When I type United States and hit enter, it rejects it. The whole page seems to lock up. When I hit “Skep Store Details” at the bottom, it won’t go to the next page. It is locked up. That’s the first problem.
Next, I see at the top of the page at the Woocommerce home page it says:
Your theme (Digital Books Pro) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
Next, it won’t install Woocommerce Payments. It gives me the following error.
Could not install woocommerce-payments plugin, <p>There has been a critical error on this website.</p><p>Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.</p>
I decided to go to the download at WordPress and I installed woocommerce payments, but when I activated it, it locked up my entire WordPress site. I had to go to my server and delete the folder with the plugin before I could get back into the admin of my site.
My WordPress site is a brand new install, so it is as clean as any site could possibly get. I have no other plugins installed except Askiment, and I’ve not even edited the site yet, so there can be no interference or conflict with anything at this stage. It’s all your template. 100%
I’d like to use your template, but it appears to have multiple problems–serious problems. Can you solve these, or do I need to ask for a refund? I hope this isn’t going to be a continuing problem with upgrades.
