File Structure

The package you download has several folders. Here is the detail of each folders:

The following screenshots are of template . They are not for production.

Theme - contains wordpress theme files

"education-zone-pro" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.

"license.txt" - contains license details


Template Installation

It’s very easy to install the template. You can do this in two ways.

1-Install a theme using wordpress admin

Login to your WordPress Dashboard to begin Installation Process. Next, click on

1. Go to the menu Appearance → Themes


2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.


3. Click on upload theme button.


4. Now click browse button and select educational-zone-pro theme and install.


You have successfully installed the theme

2-Install a Theme using FTP

Secondly you can upload via FTP. You need to login to FTP and go to your folder in wp-content/themes. Download and unzip the theme , than upload the extracted folder to your server.


Login Now to your WP dashboard and navigate to Appearance →Themes to activate Total.


Plugin Installation

To install a WordPress Plugin manually by .zip archive and You need to follow the below steps for Upload plugin

  • Install Required Plugins:
  • educational-zone-pro-posttype ,contact-form-7 plugin
  • Go to Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> Upload plugin.

click on the install now button and activate



Section One Click Demo Importer

You can import demo content easily in just few steps. Your site will be created through this.

Go toDashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Before started "Run Importer" first installed "educational-zone-pro-posttype" plugin.

Click on"Run Importer".



Set-up "Home page".

1) Create Page to set template:Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

Name your home page as “home” or as required . Then select home page template from the dropdown .


2) Set the front page:Go to Setting -> Reading --> Now change Your home page display to home page from dropdown


By doing so you will achieve the demo content on home page.


How to set up Home Page

1) Set-up "SECTION ORDERING" Section

Rearrange or reorder the sections

Reorder the sections as per your need.

Now to proceed with Section Ordering.

Go to Appearance >> Theme Settings >>Section Ordering



2) Set-up "TOP Bar" Section

Now to proceed with Topbar,

Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New


For Top menus you need to create menu

Go to Appearance >> Menu >> Add menu


Go to Appearance >>Customize Themes >>Settings >> Topbar



Topbar Section will appear like this.


3) Set-up "SOCIAL ICONS" Section

Now to proceed with Social Icons section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Themes Settings>> Social Icons.


It will appear like this on the front end.



4) Set-up "SITE IDENTITY" Section

Now to proceed with Site Identity,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Site Identity




6) Set-up "SLIDER" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up the slider

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings



  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Number of Slider To Show: This will allow you to select how many slider you require.
  • Slider Image: Here you can set the images for slider.
  • Slide text: Here, you can set the text to be displayed on slider.
  • Slider Button Text: Here, you can set the text to be displayed on button.

It will appear like this on the front end.



7)Set-up "TOP HEADLINE" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Top Headline Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Top Headline

8) Set-up "LANGUAGE" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Language Sectionn,

In order to Set-up the following section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Language Section




  • Background image: Here you can add the background image in this section.
  • Section Main Heading: Allows you to set title of your Section.

It will appear like this on the front end



9) Set-up "ABOUT" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up the About us Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>About




  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Section Main Heading : It will let you add the title for the section.
  • Section Sub Heading: Here you can write the description of your title.
  • Select Button : Here, you can Add the view all Project Button in this sections.

It will appear like this on the front end



10) Set-up "OUR COURSES" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Our course Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Course Section


  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Background Image: Here, you can select the background Image which you have necessary in the above section.

It will appear like this on the front end



11) Set-up "OUR VIDEO" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Our Video Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Our Video



  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.

It will appear like this on the front end



12) Set-up " WHY CHOOSE US" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Why Choose us Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Why Choose us



It will appear like this on the front end



13) Set-up "Blog & EVENTS" Section

Now to proceed with Blog & EVENTS Section,

In order to Set-up the following Blog & EVENTS section Go to Dashboard >> post >>Add New


Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Blog & EVENTS Section.




  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Section Main Heading: Here, you can set the text of this section.
  • Section Text: Here in this section you can write the contents of the above title.

It will appear like this on the front end



14) Set-up "OUR RECORDS" Section

Now to proceed with Our Records Section,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Our Records Section




You need to follow the below steps to Our Records Section.


  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.

It will appear like this on the front end



15) Set-up "TESTIMONIAL" Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Testimonial Section

For Testimonial section, we need to install and activate educational-zone-pro-posttype Plugin. After activation,Testimonial section will appear in dashboard.

In order to Set-up the following section Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >>Add New


Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Testimonial



  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Background Color This option allows you to set the background color of this section.
  • Background Image: This option allows you to set th background image for this section..
  • Section Main Heading: It will let you add the title for the section

It will appear like this on the front end


16) Set-up "TALENTED INSTRUCTORS" Section

For Talented Instructors section, we need to install and activate educational-zone-pro-Posttype Plugin. After activation, Talented Instructors section will appear in dashboard.

In order to Set-up the following section

Go to >>Dashboard >> Talented Instructors >> Add New


Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Talented Instructors


  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Background Color This option allows you to set the background color of this section.
  • Background Image: This option allows you to set the background image for this section..

It will appear like this on the front end



17) Set-up "NEWSLETTERS" Section

Before proceeding with the Newsletter section, we need to install contact forn 7 plugin. after the installation of contact forn 7 plugin. Contact options will appears on the Dashboard

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New


You need to follow the below steps to Set-up the Newsletter Section

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Newsletter Section



  • Enable/Disable option: Select enable/disable to hide or unhide section from here.
  • Background Color This option allows you to set the background color of this section.
  • Background Image: This option allows you to set th background image for this section..

It will appear like this on the front end



18) Set-up "POST SETTINGS"

Now to proceed with Post Settings,

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Post Settings





21) Set-up Contact

Before proceeding with the Contact section, we need to install contact form 7 plugin. contact options will appear once you install the plugin

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New Post


Go to Dashboard >> Page >> contact page


Go to Appearance >> Theme setting >> Contact


It will appear like this on the front end



Plugins

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to activate plugins

If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. You need to follow the below steps to activate plugin in your theme.

Go to Plugins >> Installed Plugins >> Plugin Name >>Activate

Total three plugins are added. For more understanding, refer below image.


1. educational-zone-pro-posttype

Here educational-zone-pro-posttype is added for Testimonial section. For more understanding, refer below figure.

Instructors Section

You need to follow the below steps to Set-up Instructors.

Go to Instructors section, add new post, enter post name, description and set featured image. Then click on publish.

Post, Categories and Post Formats

Adding category

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
  4. Type in the name of your new category.
  5. After that, click the Add New Category button.
  6. Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post


  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Click the Add New tab.
  4. Type in your post content.
